As the global energy transition accelerates, the PV and energy storage industries are becoming the core engines driving sustainable development. The highly anticipated 19th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition (2026 SNEC) will be held from June 3 to 5 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. S.C will present a high-profile showcase with its cutting-edge technologies and innovative product portfolio, exploring the future of green energy together with global peers.

Rigid-flexible Coordination: Comprehensive PV Technology Route Layout to Build Core Competitiveness
At this exhibition, S.C will showcase self-developed equipment and related solar cells adapted to PV technology development, demonstrating its deep expertise and innovative strength in the PV field through a "rigid-flexible coordination" technology layout.
Sample Preview - Perovskite: Breaking Through Efficiency Bottlenecks to Establish a Full-Scenario Application Ecosystem
The perovskite samples are provided by S.C's perovskite pilot line. Among them, the 300mm*300mm single-junction perovskite solar cell has achieved a conversion efficiency exceeding 23%, while the 210mm*105mm HJT/perovskite tandem solar cell has surpassed 32% in conversion efficiency.

To address the needs of space PV and other differentiated application scenarios, S.C has successfully developed flexible HJT/perovskite tandem solar cells. The tandem cells fabricated on 50 μm ultra-thin heterojunction substrates have achieved an efficiency exceeding 28%. Meanwhile, S.C has advanced R&D on RPD-grown radiation-resistant TCO (ICO, IWO, etc.) and electroplated grid line supporting processes. This has laid a solid foundation for the application of perovskite solar cells in extreme environments.
In the development of perovskite flexible module production processes, 300mm*300mm flexible modules have achieved a conversion efficiency of 19%, while flexible four-terminal tandem solar cells have reached a conversion efficiency of 27%.

Sample Preview - Heterojunction: P/N Dual Cells Validated as Ultra-Thin and High-Efficiency; Dual Advances in Technology and Equipment
The heterojunction samples are provided by S.C’s heterojunction pilot line. Among them, 50 μm P-type heterojunction solar cells achieve an average efficiency of >25%, while 50 μm N-type heterojunction solar cells can reach an average efficiency of 25.6%. The overall line yield remains stable above 90%, with less than 20% equipment throughput loss, offering multiple advantages including ultra-thin profile, high efficiency, high yield, and high throughput.
High-efficiency N-type ultra-thin heterojunction flexible modules: the R&D module delivers a maximum power output of up to 125 W. Composed of 50 μm ultra-thin heterojunction solar cells, the module features an exceptionally light and soft texture, toughness, and high-efficiency power generation performance.

In addition, the HJT-OBB-NCP interconnection soldering equipment developed by the pilot line ensures reliable connection between electrodes and solder ribbons without flux, completely eliminating the maintenance challenges of conventional flux. This facilitates the application of low-stress, lightweight, and flexible products in the industry, perfectly matching future market application scenarios for solar cells and modules.

Sample Preview — Crystalline Silicon: Dual Drivers of Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement, A New Solution for High-Precision Mass Production
To enable fine patterning for crystalline silicon solar cells, S.C has developed industrial inkjet printing technology and equipment as an alternative to traditional laser etching, applicable to Polyfinger and BC solar cell-related structures.
Among the inkjet-printed patterning products, the BC process sample (first film opening) has a fine finger line width of 430 μm, an etching depth of 3–3.5 μm, and a base width of 28–30 μm, delivering an electrical performance gain of 0.2% over existing processes.
The TOPCon Polyfinger sample features a fine finger line width of 100 μm, an etching depth of 3–3.5 μm, and a base width of 22–24 μm, delivering an electrical performance gain of 0.15% over existing processes.

The inkjet printing equipment supports customization of high-precision mask patterns, with controllable wet etching depth in non-mask areas and adjustable base width after etching to meet on-site process requirements. Compared with laser etching processes, inkjet printing uses a “contactless” fabrication method that requires no complex etching steps, effectively avoiding thermal damage, edge loss, and film layer damage caused by laser processing. It reduces consumable and equipment O&M costs and improves cell yield and mass-production consistency. It provides a low-cost, highly adaptable new mass-production fabrication solution for high-efficiency PV solar cells.
